SARAZEN Tick Tweezer 2-in-1

The practical SARAZEN tick tweezers 2-in-1 combine the advantages of a tweezer with those of a tick card. You can use it to remove both small and large ticks painlessly, safely and quickly. The handy tick tweezer fits in every backpack or pocket and is therefore easy to bring along in all outdoor activities.

Application tips:

• Small ticks: Open the pliers by squeezing the corresponding buttons with your thumb and forefinger. Grasp the tick as close to the skin as possible (release the buttons to close the gripper). As soon as the tick body is between the pincers, you can pull the tick out with 2 - 3 turns of the tongs (no matter in which direction).
• Large ticks (ticks that have eaten): There is a grip pocket at the upper end of the tweezers. Push the notch as close as possible to the skin under the tick's body and twist the tick out.
• Disinfect the tweezers before and after use. If possible, disinfect the bite site and note the date of the bite in case you need to consult a doctor later.
• If the bite site becomes infected, redness, fever, or pain in the limbs, see a doctor immediately.
